Dairy Queen to Open in Manhattan by End of 2012

Dairy Queen CEO John Gainor was on Bloomerg Television's Money Moves yesterday to discuss some exciting news for Manhattanites. Gainor revealed that with 6200 locations in 20 countries, the "riDQulously" popular chain is finally coming to New York City this summer.

Dairy Queen, which has been part of the Warren Buffet empire since 1998, has signed a multi unit agreement and will open their first outlet in the Staten Island Ferry Station. Says the CEO, "Hopefully by the end of this year, we'll have several units open in Manhattan." Head over to Bloomberg for the full interview with Deirdre Bolton.
