Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the city:

When: Today, 2 p.m.
Where: Brooklyn Kitchen, 100 Frost St.
What: Brooklyn Kitchen has teamed up with Nishimoto Trading Company to bring 16 brewers in for a sake and shochu tasting this afternoon. Expect snacks from Harris Salat's soon-to-open ramen restaurant, Ganso. Tickets are $25. There will also be a master knife engraver on site from Sakai City, Japan. All Kikuichi knives will be 20% off today or customers can bring their own knives in for engraving.
2012_05_Tastes2) Tastes NYC
When: Today, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Gansevoort Plaza
What: Restaurants like Frankies 570, Macao Trading Company, and The Meatball Shop will be serving their grub on Gansevoort Street today to benefit The Lab School for Collaborative Studies. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the event. Each ticket gets you 6 tastes or for $100, you can sit at a community table and have your food brought to you. Can't make it? Consider sponsoring a ticket for a Lab teacher.

When: Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Haven's Kitchen, 109 W. 17th St.
What: Haven's Kitchen and Clawhammer Farm are teaming up to celebrate local meat, produce, and farmers. A $59 ticket gets you access to cocktails, savory tastes, and desserts all made from a 200 lb. spring pig.

When: Tomorrow
Where: Various locations in Redhook
What: Tickets are still available for Sunday's leg of the Bon Appetit Grub Crawl.Tomorrow the crawl will graze through Red Hook, making stops at places like Fort Defiance, The Good Fork, and Mile End. Tickets are $89.

When: Saturday and Sunday, 4 p.m.
Where: On the East River, 2420 FDR Service Rd E.
What: Stuff your face with crawfish, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the East River this weekend while supporting Kids Need a Melody. The Non-profit group provides free music classes to children living in shelters and is selling tickets to this event for $100. The ticket also includes unlimited Abita beers and hurricanes.
