At last night's CB 3 meeting, the board voted to recommend Paulaner Brauhaus for a full liquor license, and Ninth Street Espresso for a beer and wine license (the owner is making his own beer now). Also, the owners of B-Side explained that they're opening a restaurant on East Broadway and Clinton Street that will serve "the best fish, chips and falafel you’ve ever had." [The Local EV]
