Todd English's Gothic Margarita Lair Crossbar Closes

Sad news for fans of tiny cocktails, massive tubular vases, and purple mood lighting: Todd English's Crossbar in the Limelight Marketplace is no more. There have been rumors about its closure for months now, but over the weekend, Zagat noticed that there was construction being done on the space. Also, the phone lines are dead and the website no longer exists. No word yet on what will take over the Crossbar space, but perhaps the new IHOP will annex part of the dark, menacing chamber that was its dining room.

UPDATE: A rep for the space says that it's not going to be the future home of IHOP.
