Reputed Gambino family associate Joseph Chirico is the landlord of the Carroll Garden building that houses 16 Handles. Before it was a fro-yo shop, the space was Joe’s Luncheonette, which Chirico owned. He tells the Post: "My heart is broken to see that nice luncheonette closed. The guy I had running it ruined the business. I can’t run three businesses anymore, so I rented it out to 16 Handles.” [NYP]
