Earlier this month, Anthony Bourdain was in Brooklyn shooting the final episode of his hit show No Reservations. He tells the Daily News: "Brooklyn is the nexus where everything is going on right now...Brooklyn is a melting pot. There are traditional Jewish delis. Caribbeans are a huge part of the culture."
On the shoot, Bourdain visited Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Delicatessen and Randazzo's Clam Bar in in Sheepshead Bay, as well as Gloria’s West Indian Restaurant in Crown Heights, where he dined with Michael Williams and Jamie Hector from The Wire. And, of course he hit up Brooklyn Fare (w/Ripert) and Roberta's — you can't do a show (or write an article) about Brooklyn dining these days and not mention those two.
The Brooklyn episode of No Reservations should air this fall.
