On his days off, Daniel Boulud likes to race cars at Monticello, hunt pheasant in Pennysylvania, and wander around Soho and Brooklyn with his daughter. And on Saturday night: "I might go to my restaurant Boulud Sud and have a quick bite. I then go for drinks with some friends. I like places that serve interesting cocktails and are private and intimate, such as PDT, Employees Only or Dutch Kills in Queens." [WSJ]
