Calexico Moving into the Old Blue Ribbon Sushi Space

Not too long ago, Blue Ribbon Sushi on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope closed its doors for good. The large wood-front space, which sits just one storefront down from where the new Terroir Wine Bar will open, will reportedly be home to Cal-Mex favorite Calexico. The mini-chain, which sells tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, has garnered a following with food carts and more recently, a few brick and mortar locations around town. The owners will approach the Community Board 6 for a liquor license tomorrow, with plans to be open until midnight during the week and 2 a.m. on the weekends.
