5 Boro PicNYC, Mad Sq. Eats, and More

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the city:

When: Saturday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Governors Island
What: A two-day celebration of food, craft beer, and bluegrass. A $25 ticket gets you a sampling from 20 food vendors (Peels, Vandaag, Carlton Park) and one beer ticket. Also on the docket: A grilled cheese cook-off, hot sauce tastings, and a taco challenge. Tickets go to benefit Slow Food NYC, Earth Matter, Kingsborough Community College, and Teen Battle Chef.

When: Daily, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m
Where: Worth Square, 5th Ave.
What: The month-long festival comes to a close on Friday, making this your last weekend to go. Stop by to sample fare from Roberta's Pizza , Mile End, Momofuku Milk Bar, and more.

When: Tomorrow and every third Sunday from June to October, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Grand Army Plaza
What: 15 trucks will participate in the first Food Truck Rally of the season tomorrow, on the North side of Prospect Park. Trucks will change each month and tomorrow's lineup includes Gorilla Cheese NYC, Kimchi Taco Truck, and Rickshaw Dumpling.

When: Daily, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: The Porch, Lower Chelsea Market Passage, on the High Line at West 15th Street
What: Terroir's High Line outpost opened last night and will start lunch service today at noon. Expect a variety of paninis and salads, as well as a New York focused wine and beer list. Terroir joins other High Line vendors like Northern Spy Food Co., Bark, and Blue Bottle.

When: Today
Where: Ample Hills Creamery, 623 Vanderbilt Avenue
What: To celebrate their one year anniversary, Ample Hills Creamery in Brooklyn is offering customers the opportunity to win free ice cream for a week. The Creamery will start with 24 flavors and decrease the price of a single scoop every time a flavor sells out, until there are only 4 flavors left and the ice cream is free. If you can guess which four flavors will sell out first and which four will be left at the end of the day, you get free ice cream for the entire week. Head to their facebook page before noon to submit your guesses.
