cakeshop.jpgLower East Side music venue Cake Shop raised the $10k it needed to survive the threat of imminent closure this past Monday, reports Grub Street. The indie rock fixture is not in the clear, however, as the shop will have to raise $50K by June 20 in order to keep slinging cakes and hosting bands.
