Last night, restaurateur Andrew Tarlow and chef Sean Rembold opened Reynards, their airy new all-day restaurant in the brand-new Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. This is a much bigger restaurant than Tarlow and Rembold's other places, Diner and Marlow & Sons.
The space features a long bar in the front room, and an L-shaped dining room in the back that's connected to an open kitchen. Rembold has put together a menu of market-driven American food that's similar to what's served at Marlow and Diner. The big difference is that here, the chef is working with a gigantic wood-fired oven and grill. Reynards is currently open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Take a look around, and send any early reports to the tipline.
