Upper West Siders fought hard to keep Sugar and Plumm Purveyors of Yumm out of the neighborhood to no avail, and now the sweets shop is opening a second spot in the Village, writes Jeremiah's Vanishing NY. The new location is slated to open somewhere near the intersection of Cornelia and Bleecker streets, possibly across from Murray's Cheese Shop. [JVNY]
