Beer at Porchetta; BBQ Blowout Returns on May 16

EAST VILLAGE — Porchetta finally nabbed its beer license. The restaurant is currently serving Session beer, but there are more selections to come, plus wine. [EaterWire]

WILLIAMSBURG — Darin and Greg Bresnitz, of Finger on the Pulse, will kick off their fifth annual summer BBQ series on May 16 at Good Co. in Williamsburg. Fette Sau and St Anslem's Joe Caroll & Yvon de Tassigny will be in charge of the food. For $10, you can get a plate of food and a complimentary Brooklyn Brewery ale or bottle of Evian water.
