Tonight, high-end Cantonese chain Hakkasan will open its first NYC location in a huge space just one block north of Port Authority on 43rd Street. Hakkasan calls itself a "fine dining restaurant," and although there are white linens on the table, the space also features a DJ booth, a bar the width of a football field, and lots of mood lighting, kind of like a club. The chef, Ho Chee Bon, worked at the original London location (which holds a Michelin star), and he's brought over several of the favorites from the flagship, and added some new dishes too. Many of these creations are obscenely expensive — there's an $888 abalone dish on the menu — but most entrees range from $22 - $88. Take a look around and check out the menu below.
