Benoit Turns 100; Kentucky Derby at Mable's Smokehouse

MIDTOWN WEST — The Paris location of famous French Bistro Benoit has been around for 100 years, and the New York location is joining in to assist in the celebratory revelry. On May 3 the restaurant will offer a five-course anniversary dinner prepared by a line up of heavy-hitting chefs like Michael Anthony (Gramercy Tavern), April Bloomfield (Spotted Pig, John Dory Oyster Bar, Breslin Bar & Dining Room), Michael White (Marea, Ai Fiori, Osteria Morini), Philippe Bertineau (Benoit) and Alain Ducasse. WILLIAMSBURGMable's Smokehouse hosts its second annual Kentucky Derby Party featuring the prerequisite mint julep for $5.
