Ken & Cook, a Casual American Restaurant on Kenmare

Earlier this week, Ken & Cook opened in the Kenmare Street space that most recently housed club/restaurant Travertine. The chef here is Richard Diamonte, who previously worked at Mercer Kitchen, and the front of the house is being managed by Artan Gjoni, who also worked at Mercer Kitchen as well as Norwood. The menu features a lot of New York brasserie staples like oysters Rockefeller, steak tartare, linguini with clams, mussels with chorizo, fried chicken, a burger, and pork belly over polenta. Appetizers are $13- $17, and entrees are $19-$28. Sometime in the near future, Ken & Cook will open a lounge in the basement called Li'l Charlie's.
