Last Pieces of Bill's Gay Nineties Packed Up, Carted Off

A tipster sends in this photo of the Bill's Gay Nineties awning being loaded into a moving van. The owners of the legendary tavern, which shuttered a few weeks ago, say that they hope to relocate somewhere else in the neighborhood. Jeremiah's Vanishing New York has more pictures of the move, and a note on the bar's site reads: "We are working on our new home. Please go to our contact page and give us your email address and name so that we can keep you up to date on our progress and let you know how you can help."
