GQ's Alan Richman recently singled out the Salon at Per Se as one of the 10 best restaurants in New York. He argued that the food is just as sensational as what's served in the dining room, but you can order a la carte, and there are no reservations required or accepted.
Now it appears that Thomas Keller & Co. are offering something new that you won't find in the big room: a $65 five-course dessert tasting. The menu was introduced just a few weeks ago, and the dishes from pastry chef Elwyn Boyles will change daily. In addition to the tasting, the Salon also offers five a la carte desserts each night. Check out last night's dessert menu below.
Also of note: last night's Salon menu included a 100 day dry aged American Wagyu entree.
