[Krieger, 04/17/12]

Earlier this week, restaurateur Christos Valtzoglou opened Boukies, a Greek restaurant in the East Village space that formerly housed his short-lived Michelin-starred German restaurant Heartbreak. For this new project, he tapped cookbook author and all-around Greek food expert Diane Kochilas as the consulting chef. The menu features a number of Greek small plates to share, including cheese plates, a caviar dip with smoked trout, savory pies, and clay-baked vegetable dishes. Boukies also serves two entree-sized dishes: a whole grilled fish, and lamb chops. Take a look around the space, and check out the dinner menu below.
