Attaboy to Serve 'Cocktails to the Highest Degree'

New, 7 comments

Today, bartender Sam Ross tells Mouthing Off about his plans to turn the Lower East Side bar Milk & Honey into Attaboy, his new project with fellow barman Michael McIlroy. Sasha Petraske's referral-only speakeasy will head uptown, while the two Milk & Honey alums transform the space into something like "a 1940s or 1950s private investigators office."

Ross promises to serve "cocktails to the highest degree" but within more of a low-key boozery sort of setting. There are plans to open up the front to the street and have half of the bar for seating, half for booths. No reservations needed for the new spot, but do expect to find lots of bitter-twinged spirits like Campari, Aperol and Amari, along with the industry-swigging favorite: negronis.
