The Williamsburg location of Zak Pelaccio's barbecue joint Fatty 'Cue quietly closed for renovations back in January. The management originally announced a March reopening, but now Fatty Crew CEO Rick Camac tells Eater that they're on track for late May or early June. Camac notes:
The feel and experience will be somewhere in between the prior version there and the new one in Manhattan, although more geared towards the local demographic (as we do at each venue we open). There'll be more small plates, sandwiches and affordable options. Likely we'll also offer a large format menu, something we were working on prior. With any luck, Thai-style bottle service will make its way across the bridge too.
