Northern Spy, Bark, Terroir Sign on for The High Line

Last summer, The High Line had concession stands from Blue Bottle, L'Arte Del Gelato, People's Pops, La Newyorkina, and Melt Bakery — all solid vendors, but most of them served sweets and drinks. Now, Friends of The High Line announce that they've added some new vendors to the lineup who will offer a variety of savory foods.

This year, the park will include stalls from: Northern Spy Food Co., who will sell salads, soups, pork sticky rolls, and biscuits made with jam or ham; Bark Hot Dogs, who will offer burgers and dogs, plus seasonal sides; and The Taco Truck, who will crank out traditional-style tacos, tortas, and salads. All of last year's vendors will return for the 2012 warm weather season, too.

And, because people like to drink outdoors, Marco Canora and Paul Grieco will operate a cafe version of Terroir in The Porch space at West 15th Street. That will serve wine, beer, panini, salads, and meatballs subs. Most of the vendors from last year will return tomorrow or Thursday, and the rest will debut at the end of May.
