Top Chef alum Leah Cohen left Centro Vinoteca two and a half years ago to "continue her culinary education by studying and traveling in South East Asia and Spain." Now it seems she's finally going to put all that culinary education to good use with the opening of new Asian restaurant in the old Falai space. The Lo-Down reports that Cohen is working with Rick Camac, the CEO of the Fatty Crew group (the company is now branching out into hospitality management).
They're currently hoping to get approved for a beer and wine license at next week's CB3 meeting. Last year, Cohen said she wanted to open a place called Pig and Khao, but there's no word yet on whether she's going to stick with that name or choose a better one.
