It only makes sense than Michael Psilakis, arguably the most well-known Greek chef in New York would open a restaurant in the city's largest Greek community, years after he established himself by serving his upscale and modern take on the traditional cuisine in Manhattan at Onera, Anthos, and Kefi. And today reps confirm local message board speculation that Psilakis is opening a branch of MP Taverna, the restaurant he first opened in Roslyn, Long Island in May, in the former space of Mezzo Mezzo on Ditmars Blvd. No further details are available at this time, but feel free to peruse the original MP Taverna menu here.
And for those wondering, yes Psilakis is still signed on to the Survivor-esque BBC America food show No Kitchen Required.
