Edi & The Wolf Team May Expand with New Ave. C Space

During a recent One Year In interview Eduard Frauneder and Wolfgang Ban, the owners of Avenue C Austrian restaurant Edi & The Wolf and its midtown sister Seasonal, said they were always on the lookout for favorable leases and landlords looking for a "good, nice place" in his or her building. Perhaps they've found one.

EV Grieve notices that the duo are on the Community Board 3 docket and are aiming to open a bar and restaurant with eight tables and 15 seats in the former Lava Gina space on Avenue C between 7th and 8th streets, half a block from Ed & The Wolf, that will feature some kind of food element.
