Grub Street learns that Sasha Petraske & Co. are adding a kitchen space to their moody cocktail den Dutch Kills. This new operation will soon serve things like grilled cheese sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, and other artisanal pub grub. This is a smart move, as the neighborhood could always use a few more dining options, especially late at night.
This new restaurant component will be called "Blissville," and in a curious move, the owners are referring to this as a "pop-in," which might just be another term for "restaurant" or "sandwich counter inside a bar." And there's a chance they might serve take-out during the middle of the day for all those hungry Citigroupers. Blissville should debut early this summer.
