The Post learns that the owner of the crime-ridden Greenwich Village McDonald's met with the police last night to discuss ways to keep the place safe. A NYPD rep notes: "What we're trying to convince McDonald's to do, and what I think they've been receptive to, is treating their McDonald's as if it were a bar past a certain hour of the night.” The owners might let the police remotely monitor the restaurant via surveillance cameras.
