Parish Hall, a new restaurant from the team behind seven year-old Williamsburg restaurant and brunch destination Egg, opens for lunch tomorrow on North 3rd Street and will launch dinner on Friday, April 13. Owner George Weld writes that the food here is meant to reflect the offerings of the region of New York, the Catskills, and the Hudson River Valley and they'll cook "with one eye on the various traditions of the area and another on the exciting neighborhood we cook and serve in."
They raised money for the space through the small business fundraiser Slow Money, and much of the food will be sourced from Weld's Goatfell Farm. Lunch menu items include a Ploughman's sandwich with cheese from Saxelby Cheese, a pork plate, and bread and onion soup, and it's served along with a full bar menu. See the menu below and stay tuned for dinner's debut in a couple of week. For now they're open seven days a week from 11 AM - 4 PM.
