Todd Carmichael, founder of popular coffee roaster La Colombe, is opening a one-of-a-kind decaffeination plant in Philly. He believes he can make a decaffeinated coffee product that's better than any of the others that are currently available, but he also hopes the opening of the plant will force the New York Stock Exchange to recognize Philadelphia as a port for coffee.
