Flo Fab reports that Delta plans to open a slew of restaurants from some of the city's hottest chefs in the recently acquired Terminal C at LaGuardia.
Some of these projects were previously announced, but here's a rundown of the big new restaurants coming to Terminal C: a branch of Michael White's pasta and pizza concept Cotto (announced a year and a half ago); two projects from Andrew Carmellini, Victory Grill and The Minnow (also previously announced); Empire Tavern from Balthazar's Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson; Custom Burgers by Pat La Frieda; Artichoke Pizza; a taqueria from Aarón Sanchez, a biergarten from Brooklyn Brewery's Garrett Oliver; a sandwich shop from Andrew Zimmern; and a Japanese restaurant from Jamison Blankenship of Chuko.
Also: Anne Burrell, the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef will operate a place called Vagabond Burger Bar, which means that she'll actually become a restaurant chef again after a 3.5 year hiatus. Several smaller and more casual concepts are also planned for the space, which will be run by OTG Management.
Although the full roll-out of these new restaurants won't drop until Fall of 2013, apparently Delta will be opening up a few of these places this weekend.
