Ludlow Manor, the troubled multi-story nightlife mecca that had its liquor license put into the vault by the State Liquor Authority, may finally be getting its act together. Bowery Boogie reports that the Manor will reopen its ground floor restaurant and bar this weekend, and unlike its original opening, they will be expand beyond the old PB&J menu and will offer their long awaited tapas program. Sounds delicious!
Not only that, the SLA has given them back their liquor license for the ground floor only, and sexy hair loving Luc Carl and the owners will be going back in front of Community Board 3 at the next meeting in an attempt to finally convince them to grant a liquor license for the upper two floors. But if history teaches us anything, it seems unlikely that Ludlow Manor will walk away with an expanded license in hand.
