Chang, Isa, Humm, Tosi Finalists for James Beard Awards

Today, at an event out in Las Vegas, the James Beard Foundation announced the final nominees for the 2011 James Beard Awards. The awards will take place at a gala event on Monday, May 7 at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, and as usual, we'll be there live to document the goings on. Head over to Eater National for the full list, but here are the categories where New York chefs, restaurants, and hospitality professionals were nominated:

Outstanding Chef: David Chang, Gary Danko, Daniel Humm, Paul Kahan, Donald Link, Nancy Silverton.
Outstanding Restaurant: Balthazar, Blue Hill, Boulevard, Highlands Bar and Grill, Vetri.
Best New Restaurant: AQ, Fiola, Isa, Next, Tertulia.
Best Chef: NYC: Michael Anthony (Gramercy Tavern), April Bloomfield (The John Dory, The Breslin), Wylie Dufresne (wd~50), Mark Ladner (Del Posto), Michael White (Ai Fiori, Marea, Osteria Morini).
Outstanding Pastry Chef: Joanne Chang, Melissa Chou, Hedy Goldsmith, Dahlia Narvaez, Ghaya Oliveira (Boulud Sud), Mindy Segal.
Rising Star Chef of the Year: Dave Beran, Daniel Bowien, Thomas McNaughton, Christina Tosi, Sue Zemanick.
Outstanding Service: Cyrus, La Grenouille, Michael Mina, Spiaggia, Topolobampo.

Outstanding Restaurateur: Bruce Bromberg and Eric Bromberg, Tom Douglas, Piero Selvaggio, Caroline Styne, Phil Suarez.
Outstanding Beer, Wine, or Spirits Prof: Sam Calagione, Merry Edwards, Paul Grieco (Hearth), Garrett Oliver (Brooklyn Brewery), Neal Rosenthal.
Outstanding Restaurant Design: DBGB Kitchen and Bar (NYC); Le Bernardin (NYC), Romera (NYC) Outstanding Restaurant Graphics: The Americano at Hôtel Americano (NYC), The Dutch (NYC), Farmshop (Santa Monica).
