Spring Ramps Have Officially Arrived in New York City

New, 10 comments

Ladies and gentleman, ramp season is now underway. An Eater operative spotted the delicious garlicky greens on the menu last night at Seersucker in Carroll Gardens. Right now, the restaurant is serving an appetizer of "black pepper ricotta dumplings with market kale, Ozark country ham, Georgia olive oil, and Virginia ramps."

Eater reached out to Seersucker's chef Robert Newton, who notes: "Yes, I just received my first round of ramps for the season. They're small, but really nice. Morels and fiddleheads are just around the corner."

Spring is here, New York. And if you spot any ramps on the menu this week, let us know.
