Matt Abramcyk to Open Maritime in Ivy's Bistro Space

Nightlife man and restaurateur Matt Abramcyk opened two new Tribeca projects in the last year: Tiny's and Super Linda. Now, he's about to add one more neighborhood restaurant to his roster with the opening of Maritime in the space that currently houses Ivy's Bistro.

The Tribeca Citizen reports that the new project will have an oyster bar on the first floor of the space and a dining room upstairs. When asked about the location, Abramcyk remarked, “I love the corner....The view over the water is beautiful.” No word yet on when Ivy's will close, or when Maritime will open, but Matt and his crew will probably offer more details on the project at tonight's CB1 meeting.
