1) Hell's Kitchen: A blogger reports on plywood coming down at the old Piece of Chicken spot revealing that Schmackary's Cookies may soon be entering this site. Vacant since 2010, neighbors would be happy to see local baker Zach Schmahl open a brick and mortar location to his online cookie business. [PLYWOOD]

2) Upper West Side: West Side Rag reports on some signage spotted at the old location of Mama Mexico, a 15 year institution which closed at the beginning of the year for reasons that are still unclear. The sign announced that "Maria Bonita" will be coming soon to the spot, nothing else is known about the restaurant. [PLYWOOD]

3) Lower East Side: According to Bowery Boogie, 254 Broome Street will soon be home to Artisan Chocolates. There doesn't seem more more to report at the time but apparently the launch date is set for February 8. [PLYWOOD]

4) East Village: EV Grieve updates us on Boukies a small plate Greek restaurant going into the former Heartbreak spot. The sign for Heartbreak is down, and a menu for Bookies was posted in the window. [PLYWOOD]

5) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie reports on some serious signage that went up over the weekend for Little Seattle. Cafe Vita at 124 Ludlow now has a serious presence, based on the picture Bowery Boogie posted. It was noted that Via Tribunali was "the recipient of a branded marble marquee earlier this month, has 'pizzeria' lighting." Apparently, both places seem ready to open so now we just sit back and wait, the company projects opening in three weeks. [PLYWOOD]

6) Upper West Side: New Yorkers love Organic Avenue and Upper West Siders will be happy to learn the NYC based chain is about to open their newest location at 461 Amsterdam. [PLYWOOD]

7) Park Slope: Here's Park Slope confirms the rumors of Beauty Bar going into the old Ozzie's Coffee spot, and they snapped a picture of the logo in the window. This will be the newest outpost of Manhattan based bar salon mix Beauty Bar. Beauty Bar is known for their "martini's and manicures", hipster clientele and $10 charge for both the manicure and a beverage. [PLYWOOD]
