Annals of Law

2012_02_vudu.jpgThe Vudu Lounge was socked with a $7,500 fine for refusing to consider a man for a job as a hostess at the club. After seeing an ad for the job on Craigslist, the Human Rights Commission sent a student intern down there, where a club manager told him that the job was strictly for women, leading the HRC to file charges under the city's gender-neutral hiring laws. Will the HRC be sending interns after all of these job creators too? [NYP]
