Food Republic has a q&a today with the owners of the intriguing and soon to launch Brooklyn-based Snap Food Truck, a burger and hot dog truck that will run on fuel made from their leftover French fry oil. The couple has yet to fully launch the operation because they're still raising money for outfitting the truck on Kickstarter (see their plea video above), but once they get going, they'll serve ingredients from Ricks Pick’s, Dickson’s Farmstead Meats, and the Bedford Cheese Shop. Also: they're hoping to add solar panels to the top of the truck to help power it on sunny days.
