New Locations for BCD Tofu; Unlimited Wine at Oceana

COMING ATTRACTIONS — West coast chain BCD Tofu House is planning two new locations in NYC. Per their Facebook page, they hope to open a restaurant in Flushing in March, and another in Manhattan sometime shortly after that. No word on the exact locations just yet. They once had a Midtown location, but that closed a few months ago. [Facebook]

CHEF SHUFFLESNRN reports that Jeff Kreisel, the former chef de cuisine at Porterhouse, is now the executive chef at Penthouse 808 and Hotel Chantelle. [NRN]

MIDTOWNOceana is running a special on Sundays where guests can enjoy unlimited wine or beer pairings for $25 when they order the three-course pre-theatre menu ($49). The offer is available through April 1. [EaterWire]

THE EAST RIVERIn an attempt to boost ridership, the East River Ferry now provides free coffee in the morning, but they're also looking into offering snacks and more drink options, including a bar on the boat. [Curbed NY]
