Facebook Profiles Now Passing For ID At New York Bars

Here's another benefit of carrying a modern smartphone, which Bloomberg critic Ryan Sutton used to enter what he calls "an ambitious cocktail bar in the East Village" when he couldn't locate his New York State ID. While this may have worked for Mr. Sutton, we're pretty certain that showing the NYPD that your Facebook profile says your 21+ will result with them writing you a ticket for underage drinking.
