There is a Thing in Brooklyn Called a Babyccino

New, 21 comments

Let's begin by saying "Babyccinos" are happening, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Brooklyn Paper, take it away: "Brooklyn’s obsessive coffee culture is rubbing off on the borough’s youngest cafe-goers, with tots ditching their bottles and juice boxes in favor of 'babyccinos' — mini decaf cappuccinos or frothy cups of steamed milk and foam."

Babyccinos first gained popularity in Australia and can now be found in Fort Greene, Gowanus, Park Slope, and elsewhere. Cue the Park Slope mom closer quote, "My child has been going to cafes since he was a newborn. 'Coffee shop' was one of his first words." And scene.
