It's no surprise that restaurant broker Steve Kamali has a listing for the long shuttered Convivio space in Tudor City, as mentioned last month. What is a little more intriguing is the list of currently open restaurants he's included in his latest newsletter, including Mary Queen of Scots, the restaurant in the failed Allen & Delancey space, longtime Houston Street bar White Rabbit, Hell's Kitchen's Albert Hall Tavern, AOC Bistro in Brooklyn, Tribeca's Industria Argentina and more. Of course a market listing is by no means signifies closure—White Rabbit's Jim Chu says he considers offers and potential partnerships as they come in—but it's never the best of signs for a venture.
For the record, that Allen & Delancey/Mary Queen of Scots space is going for $16,308 per month in a 10 year lease.
