COMING ATTRACTIONS — Diner's Journal reports that the owners of Sag Harbor Japanese restaurant Sen are opening a new location at 12 West 21st Street. In an interesting move, the kitchen will be run by Wayne Nish, the once-celebrated chef behind March and Nish. At one point in time, Nish wanted to open a restaurant in Singapore, but he came back to the states because of family matters. Sen is slated to open this summer. [DJ]
BLACK TUESDAY — Tonight, Cafe China will feature music from a live cello player, plus a special dessert of rose and lotus seed puree, in addition to their regular a la carte menu. Call 212-213-2810 if you want to make a last-minute reservation. [EaterWire]
LOWER EAST SIDE — In this clip, the editors of TMZ are really confused about the concept behind Beauty & Essex. [YouTube]
VIDEO INTERLUDE — Yes, Eater Dating is very much a real thing. And, as evidenced by this clip, even the chirpy hosts of The Chew approve of it. [Eater National]
