Noise Wars

2011_heathers_door1.jpgCapital takes a look at how the bars and restaurants of New York keep the noise down outside with "please respect our neighbors" signage. When Alphabet City bar Heathers was trying to get its liquor license renewed, the management put up a sign that read: “Hey! When you need to smoke/talk/wait for someone, please move to Ave A. Not the tree, or the next tree, go beyond the trash receptacles. Thank You. Anyone and everyone who wants to keep Heathers open for another 2 years!!! " [Capital New York]
