COOKOFFS—Chef Eddie Huang asks for a beating on Twitter: "Yo @davidchang - I'm in for a Bao-Off. I mean, most of your line cooks should be able to murk me considering they paid for CIA. COME ON SON!" [Twitter]
SUPER BOWL— A couple more Super Bowl happenings. The Woods in Williamsburg has installed a huge projector screen in their heated and enclosed outdoor space. They'll be serving smoked brisket plates with corn and a roll for $5 and three for $1 buffalo wings as well as $1 pints of Miller High Life and $3 well drinks until 8 PM. Meanwhile both locations of Blue Smoke will be open and showing the game. They'll have $16 pitchers and $5 beers. [EaterWire]
