Benares Tribeca, Zen 6, Belli Osteria All Certified Open

1) Fort Greene: Belli Osteria opened this past weekend on the corner of Fulton Street and Clinton Avenue, with a menu of pastas, panini, and salads. Brownstoner hears that it's by the same owner as the Carroll Gardens Italian restaurant Fragole Ristorante. Status: Certified Open; 860 Fulton St., 347-799-1230.

2) Tribeca: Theater District Indian restaurant Benares has opened a second location in Tribeca. Gothamist has the menu, which is huge and filled with goat, chicken, lamb, and seafood dishes. Status: Certified Open; 45 Murray St., 212-766-4900.

3) East Village: The Local takes a look at a new ramen shop called Zen 6, by the owners of two other EV spots, Noodle Café Zen and Sushi Lounge. The menu's broken into two sections: Tokyo standards and "New York Pop Creations," like the Dancing Spicy Ramen with calimari and nuts. Open from noon to 11:30 p.m. Status: Certified Open; 328 E Sixth St., 212-673-9300.

4) Midtown: The kitchen doesn't appear to have gas yet, but The Hudson Bond has opened for drinks and light snacks. Flo Fab reports that, once it's able to open fully, the lunch menu will include sandwiches and a handful of pastas, plus items like Reuben potstickers, with a slightly-pared down dinner menu.
