According to signage on the door, a liquor license app has been filed for the long-shuttered Atlantic Avenue diner Long Island Restaurant. Among those involved appears to be Toby Cecchini, partner in Passerby and former bartender (and Cosmo pioneer) at The Odeon. Might this be the new tenant rumored last year? [EaterWire]
