EMM's The General Released From Its Plywood Shackles

For the last seven months or so, The EMM Group's new restaurant, The General, has been hidden behind artfully decorated plywood. But now, at last, The General is showing its face to the Bowery. Take a good hard look at that.

This is, of course, one part of a much larger dining and nightlife pleasuredome. The complex's two clubs, Finale and Bow, are now up and running. The General will open for a private party tonight, but the space won't be open to regular customers until early next year. Check out an interior plywood pic below.

Look at those tile pieces. This place is going to be crazy.
