Andy Ricker to Open Whiskey Soda Lounge This Spring

It's confirmed: Andy Ricker is bringing a version of his Portland hit bar Whiskey Soda Lounge to Brooklyn. The chef tells Flo Fab that he plans to open a location of the bar?featuring drinks and Thai "drinking food"?just a few doors down from Pok Pok Ny, in the former Iro Sushi space. Importantly, there will be wings.

Back in July, rumors circulated that this might be happening, and in September Ricker told Zagat he wanted to open a WSL but said he wasn't sure if it would happen. Good news, though, that it's most definitely going to.
