Duck schnitzel, brisket braciole, cuttlefish with garlic bread, and uni-topped beef bones are some of the dishes that Harold Dieterle has been working on for The Marrow, his new West Village restaurant with partner Alicia Nosenzo. The Marrow sits in the old Paris Commune space on Bank Street, just a few blocks away from Kin Shop and Perilla. The menu is influenced by Dieterle's German and Italian heritage, and the wine list includes over 300 selections, with a special focus on Germany, Austria, and Italy.
The Marrow is slated to open tomorrow night with a somewhat scaled back menu. The full set of dishes will debut next week.
