Drunk Santas Now Wreaking Havoc on New York City

New, 17 comments

The Drunk Santas are on the loose. Today is SantaCon, the one day of the year when thousands of grown men and women put on cheap Santa costumes, get totally wasted before noon, and stumble in and out of the bars and restaurants of New York City until all the Goldschlager is gone. Remember: if you are a restaurant owner, you do not have to put up with these crusty jokers. Just print out one of Eater's "No Drunks Santas" signs and tape it in your window. Your customers will thank you for it.

If you see any of these signs today, snap a picture and send it to tips@eater.com. We'll create a gallery of the restaurants that stood up and said no to the Drunk Santas. And if you spot a herd of wasted Kris Kringles in your favorite restaurant, snap a picture and send it to the tipline, too. Eater will be keeping tabs on these costumed buffoons all day.
